McAllen election, District 5, early voting, City Commissioner

McAllen TX - Election Day is set for Saturday, May 2, 2026, for voters in McAllen Single Member District 5 to elect a city commissioner to fill an unexpired term on the McAllen Board of Commissioners. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Candidates on the ballot are Felida Villarreal, Mark Murray and Michael Fallek. District 5 runs from I-2 expressway north to Lark Ave., along 10th Street and 23rd Street.
Early voting by personal appearance is underway through April 28 at Firemen’s Pump House, Palm View Community Center and Lark Community Center. Polls are open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., excluding Sunday, April 26.
The District 5 Election Day voting location is McAllen High School, 2021 La Vista Ave.
Residents can find designated polling locations and additional election information by visiting the City of McAllen’s official website at www.mcallen.net and searching for early voting.
