MCALLEN TX - The Office of Hidalgo County Judge Richard F. Cortez will present “Through the Storm with Sunny,” a puppet show preparing children for hurricane season, on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Lark Branch Library, 2601 Lark Ave.
Two free showings will be offered, one at 10 a.m. and one at 5 p.m.
The interactive puppet show, featuring characters Sunny and Stormy, is designed to teach children and families how to prepare for hurricane season. Each child will receive a free hurricane preparedness coloring and activity booklet, along with take-home resources for parents and families.
