McAllen, TX - The International Museum of Art & Science will host a Children’s Cascarón Workshop on March 28, 2026, beginning at 1 p.m. The workshop is designed for children ages 6 to 10 and will be led by instructor Rosalinda Cano. Participants will create traditional cascarones using provided materials.
Program details
According to the announcement, each child will receive supplies to make six cascarones during the session. A light snack will be provided for participants. Guardians may accompany children and will have seating available nearby during the activity.
Registration information
The workshop is included with a child’s general admission ticket and is free for International Museum of Art & Science members. Space is limited, and pre-registration is recommended to secure participation.
