MCALLEN TX - The International Museum of Art & Science will open its new exhibition Diego: The Promise of a Better Future on Saturday, July 25, 2026, with a Director’s Talk at 3:30 p.m. and an Opening Reception from 5 to 7 p.m. at 1900 W. Nolana Ave. The exhibition runs through Oct. 25, 2026.
The exhibition features works from the Collection of Banco de Mexico Fiduciario in the Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo Museums Trust and is supported by The Warren Group Architects, Inc. Partner institutions include Museo Anahuacalli, Museo Frida Kahlo, and Mexico’s Secretaria de Relaciones Exteriores.
The Opening Reception is free for IMAS members, with pre-registration encouraged. Members may bring one non-member guest per membership. Additional member guests may attend for a $10 admission fee. Membership may be purchased online or at the door. Members should present their membership card and ID for entry.
