McAllen TX - McAllen’s ArtWalk kicks off a new season this Friday, with the free monthly event running on the first Friday of each month from September through May.
ArtWalk is a self-guided tour through art studios, museums and galleries in the city’s oldest and most historic neighborhoods, held from 6 to 10 p.m. The event is open to the public.
Popular stops on the tour include the Nuevo Santander Gallery, Art House, the Douglas Clark Gallery, S. Klein Gallery and Manichaus. The recently completed Art Village, a 30,000-square-foot complex housing art studios, galleries, art firms and several restaurants, is also part of the tour.
