McAllen TX - The McAllen Chamber of Commerce and McAllen Economic Development Corporation will host the Man and Woman of the Year Gala: “La Catrina” on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2026, from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at Embassy Suites by Hilton in McAllen.
The gala is the McAllen Chamber of Commerce’s largest annual fundraiser, with proceeds supporting the Chamber’s small business and workforce development programs. The event will honor two individuals for outstanding contributions to McAllen and its community. The La Catrina theme pays homage to the century-old Mexican icon associated with Día de los Muertos and the tradition of remembering loved ones.
The binational event invites family, friends, elected officials, and business and community leaders from across the Rio Grande Valley and Mexico to participate through sponsorships and table purchases.
