McAllen TX - The McAllen Fire Department will hold its Annual Awards Ceremony on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the McAllen Performing Arts Center, 801 Convention Center Blvd., to recognize firefighters, staff, and retirees for outstanding service, leadership, and professional achievement.
Doors open at 5 p.m., with the program beginning at 5:30 p.m. Attire is business casual.
The event will be attended by the City Commission, City Manager Isaac J. Tawil, Fire Chief Juan Gloria, and department leadership staff.
In 2025, the department responded to more than 7,000 calls for service, supported by 182 firefighters and 25 civilian staff members.
