McAllen TX - The South Texas Research Institute will provide free liver scans during the Community Health Fair at the McAllen Public Library Main Branch, 4001 N. 23rd St., on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The quick, non-invasive scan is used to assess liver health. Participants are asked to fast for three hours before their appointment. Registration is required at bit.ly/MPLLiverScan.
