McAllen TX - The McAllen Public Library will host its annual Community Health Fair on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Main Library, 4001 N. 23rd St. All health screenings are free.
Free Health Screenings
The following screenings will be available at no cost:
Blood glucose
Blood pressure
BMI
Dental screenings
A1C screening (no fasting required)
Liver scans provided by the South Texas Research Institute (registration required; participants must fast three hours before their appointment)

Wellness Activities
Additional offerings include a blood donation drive, informational booths, family yoga, and more. Blood donation registration is available at bit.ly/MPLBloodDonation.
