McAllen TX - The City of McAllen will host a public open house Monday, June 29, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the McAllen Chamber of Commerce, 1200 Ash Ave., to gather community input on the Downtown and Entertainment District Redevelopment Plan.

City officials said the event is intended to hear directly from people who live, work, visit, and invest in downtown McAllen. Attendees will have the opportunity to review survey findings, learn more about the planning process, and provide feedback to help guide future improvements.
