McAllen TX - Metro McAllen has launched the Downtown Circulator, a free new transit service designed to help visitors and residents navigate McAllen’s downtown corridor. The circulator operates every Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The service connects the city’s most visited downtown destinations in a single loop at no cost to riders. Stops include McAllen Central Station, the Downtown McAllen Parking Garage, Metro McAllen Park and Rides, McAllen City Hall, and key locations along the historic Main Street corridor.
The new service is part of Metro McAllen’s broader short-range transit plan, which aims to grow ridership, reduce congestion, and make public transportation a more accessible option for residents and visitors.
